“ World War Z 2: What could David Fincher do with a Zombie Movie?”
Nearly after 4 years of releasing World War Z, the sequel is still in development without any confirmed reports about its release date. The second movie is happening despite failing to convince a director to commit to the project.
The first movie was a big hit at the box office with $540 Million worldwide gross, and $190 Million budget, so a sequel is just a matter of time.

“World War Z” producer David Ellison confirmed they may get David Fincher the direct the sequel. At the South by Southwest Film Festival he said:
“There’s a script that we’re incredibly happy with, and it’s just getting a couple of key deals closed… We hope [Fincher] makes the movie.”
Brad Pitt is returning for the sequel and may collaborate once again with Fincher, as he worked before with the director on Seven and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
